Deathbyshinies was a little kid who looked like Wednesday Addams, then a teenager who looked like Yoko Ono, and now she is a grown-up who mostly looks like herself. She lives in a cellar in Oxford and reads things.
None of the following quotations are actually about her.
Bellatrix, non illa colo calathisve Minervae
femineas adsueta manus, sed proelia virgo
dura pati cursuque pedum praevertere ventos.
Aeneid VII, 805-7
But what we have here is not a nice girl, as generally understood. For one thing, she's not beautiful. There's a certain set to the jaw and arch to the nose that might, with a following wind and in the right light, be called handsome by a good-natured liar... This gives her a piercing expression which is extremely disconcerting. It's not a face you can talk to. Open your mouth and you're suddenly the focus of a penetrating stare which declares: what you're about to say had better be interesting.
Terry Pratchett, Lords and Ladies
Hyder and thyder, I wote not whyder,
Do and undo, bothe togyder,
I blunder, I bluster, I blowe, and I blother,
I make on the one day, and I marre on the other,
Bysy, bysy, and ever bysy,
I daunce up and downe tyll I am dyssy...
I can fynde fantasyes where none is.
Skelton, Magnyfycence, 1032-1040
